Our speaker for the February 9th meeting will be Dr. Peter Winn Martin. His presentation, “The Unique Fort Morris,” will explore the historical significance of this important Revolutionary War site. Dr. Martin will require both a projector and a screen for his program.
Dr. Martin is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 1977). He has devoted forty-nine years to the veterinary profession and currently practices in Riceboro, Georgia, where he resides. In addition to his professional career, Dr. Martin is an accomplished author and historian, having written two books, including a notable work on Daniel Stewart and the American Revolution.

Meeting Information and Facts
One of the most active chapters in the state, the Godfrey Dreher Chapter has evening meetings at Lizard’s Thicket Restaurant, 4610 Augusta Rd, Lexington, SC on the 2nd Monday of each month except June-July-August.
6:00pm Supper, 7:00 pm Meeting.
Compatriots and their wives are invited to attend. Each month we strive to have an entertaining and knowledgable speaker who covers a topic pertaining to American history.
